Easy Tahini
Tahini is a staple in my fridge! It takes a little patience to make but it's so worth it :)
Tahini can be used in so many recipes! Hummus, salad dressings, homemade mayo, smoothies, desserts and so much more...
My food processor is quite big so I had to use at least 2 cups of seeds so that it would blend properly. You may be able to use less if your machine is smaller.
It takes quite a while for the sesame seeds to turn into tahini, you will need A LOT of patience! You may find your blender/food processor is more powerful than mine and it's done in half the time. :)

If you use 2 cups of seeds you'll get about 1 + 1/3 cups of tahini.
Here's the recipe!
Easy Tahini
All you need to make tahini is 1 ingredient, 1 food processor and a little bit of patience :)
Makes about 1 1/3 cup of tahini
Time: 25 minutes?
Ingredients:
2 cups of sesame seeds (about 265g)
Instructions:
Add the sesame seeds to your food processor and blend!
Keep blending, stopping once in a while to give the machine a break and to scrape down the sides with a spatula.
15-20 minutes in, it should start to come together.
By 25 minutes the tahini should be quite thick. You can stop here as I did, or keep blending until your desired consistency. The longer you blend, the thinner and runnier it should become.
Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge. It should stay good for over a month at least, it you haven't used it all up already!
